Thank you for being familiar with the details below. These important reminders are provided to ensure that our members and their guests enjoy their stay.
Arrivals & Departures
- Shuttle services to and from Onida, Gettysburg, and Pierre airports are available by request.
- Upon your arrival, our guest services personnel will place your luggage in your room and park your vehicle in the designated parking area for the duration of your stay.
- Personal coolers and outside food and beverage are not allowed in cabins, on the course or in the lodge.
- Golf clubs will be stored in our club room. Rental sets are available.
- Guests are invited to register at the Front Desk upon arrival.
- Check-out is at 11:00 AM. On your day of departure, please leave your packed luggage inside the front door of your cabin before leaving your cabin for the day.
- Guest services will pick up your packed luggage. You may access your luggage throughout the day, as it will be stored in the lodge hallway until your departure.
- Showers are available in the lodge for use after activities on your day of departure.
YOUR PLANS CHANGED?
No problem! We are happy to reschedule or cancel activities but we need to hear from you 24-hours in advance, or fees may apply. Please confirm your next day’s activities at the Front Desk a day prior.
LUNCH OPTIONS
You may enjoy your lunch in the Lodge, at Swampy’s on the course, or request box lunches.
GRATUITIES & SERVICE CHARGES
- For the convenience of our members and guests, Sutton Bay strives to minimize cash tipping. However, our staff is allowed to accept cash gratuities for exceptional service. Please abide by the principle that gratuities are solely meant to reward a job well done.
- 20% service charge is automatically applied to all food and beverage tickets. This is shared between all food and beverage staff.
- 8% service charge is automatically applied to all lodging, activities, and shuttles. This is shared between hourly staff.
- Caddies will present a tip voucher at the end of the round. Tips can be paid in cash to your caddy or charged to your account.
- Hunting and fishing guides will present a tip voucher after your guided trip. Tips can be paid in cash to your guide or charged to your account.
BILLING & CANCELLATION POLICY
BILLING & DEPOSITS
The member making the group reservation is responsible for payment. Members can arrange for sponsored guests to pay their own expenses by credit card. A deposit of $350 per person per night, applies for groups of 12 and larger, and will be billed 60 days prior to visit.
30 DAYS PRIOR
Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of $350 per person per night, unless the trip is rebooked within the same season.
7 DAYS PRIOR
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of $450 per person per night. For questions, please call our front desk.
